To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Mild Stroke The first warning I had of my 70% blocked caroted artery was a feeling of limpness of my right arm I put this down to a trapped nerve (small stroke), however about 10 days later the right side of my face went numb for a couple of minutes then recovered ( I now know this was a (TIA) I had the operation done under a local anasthetic (which still has not worn off completely 6 weeks later) The operation went very well (I slept through most of it) and the pain was no worse than having a sore throat Comments
